Penelope Pitstop should be a feminist icon - she's always well turned out, and okay, she gets caught by the Hooded Claw like twenty times in half an hour, but she almost always rescues herself. She may cry "Heylp, Heylp!" whenever disaster occurs but she inevitably sorts the problem out herself - usually with the help of a hair-grip or a nail file. And then more often than not, she dashes off to save the hapless ant-hill mob. All this and never a hair out of place - what a gal! 

This isn't actually her adventures, they're mine - but a little while ago, having got into several fixes and crying "Heylp, heylp!" then sorting it out for myself, I realised..... I AM Penelope Pitstop. Hope you enjoy the adventure - I am!
